Applied Development has accumulated a diverse set of core capabilities, including Technical Writing, through current and past performance on various Federal contracts. We employ our knowledge and management skills to support Government agencies’ strategic communications goals. Often, we enable those agencies to clearly display factual, mission-focused information for each Technical Writing project we fulfill.
Applied Development currently serves as the Prime contractor responsible for providing the Army National Guard (ARNG) Strategic Communications Division with specialized writing and editing services for two divisions that support the Director of the Army National Guard (DARNG) and the Special Assistants. We are honored to work with ARNG and to administer the workforce required to provide exemplary Technical Writing services. The Applied Development team’s responsibilities include identifying, developing, and implementing communications strategies and tactics, creating social media and web content, developing original graphics, photography, and graphic design/layout, and document development and publishing. These skills contribute to the wide range of services provided such as graphic design, social media support, strategic communications, technical writing and editing, website maintenance and content development, and journalistic services. The Applied Development team of writers has helped produce the ARNG Foundations of Readiness Journal, DARNG Strategic Guidance, ARNG A Civic Leader’s Guide, articles for “GX Magazine” and “The National Guard” magazine, as well as various information papers.
Applied Development actively bids on projects for other Department of Defense agencies that require the same skill sets we currently deliver to ARNG. Applied Development’s eagerness to work with future clients comes through in our work. Equipped with the knowledge of strategic communications strategies, we deliver the requisite tools and methodologies to support our clients’ strategic messaging and communications objectives.
