Communication Access Real-Time Translation (CART) Services

Real-Time Accessibility for Everyone

Applied Development offers CART services (real-time transcription) for people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, or who benefit from captioning as an alternative to sign language interpretation. CART also supports people with learning disabilities who may need text access.

Our experienced transcribers convert spoken English into text instantly displayed on an employee’s monitor, a presentation screen, or through secure streaming for remote assignments. When needed, we also provide equipment such as stenotype machines, laptops, and real-time software.
