Last month, Applied Development was proud to return to the Disability:IN Global Conference & Expo for the second year in a row. Held this year in Orlando, FL, the event drew more than 3,200 in-person and virtual united by a shared commitment to advancing disability inclusion in the workplace.

As the premier global event focused on corporate disability inclusion, the conference brought together representatives from nearly 1,000 companies across more than 40 countries. Industry leaders, innovators, and advocates gathered to explore best practices, hear expert insights, and build meaningful partnerships.

At AD’s booth in the exhibit hall, team members connected with representatives from Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, employee resource groups (ERGs), and advocacy organizations. We shared information about our full range of services, including Applied Direct Connect, our newest solution designed to streamline real-time communication for Deaf and hard of hearing customers.

Interest in our services—including American sign language (ASL) interpreting, communication access real-time translation (CART), and digital accessibility—was strong. It’s clear that more organizations are recognizing the importance of recruiting, hiring, and retaining talent with disabilities.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to join this dynamic community and look forward to continuing these impactful conversations in the months ahead!
